Kids love working in the Flatbed studio surrounded by inspirational artwork and interesting printing presses that boost imagination and creativity.

Taught by Matt Bagley of Iron Frog Press, this camp encourages concentration and collaboration in a fun and exciting way while promoting a greater understanding of the principles of design and elements of art. The kids will take home their own edition prints and uniquely colored monoprints.

This workshop is offered in 2 three-hour sessions each day: 10am to 1pm for ages 6-9 and 2pm to 5pm for ages 9-12. Please select your age group from the drop down menu when registering online. Tuition is $110 and includes materials. Kits are available from Matt if young artists wish to continue printmaking after the workshop.

About the Instructor:
Matt Bagley has over 20 years’ experience in fine art and commercial printing. His work is regularly exhibited in galleries and museums both locally and nationwide. He is the master printer at Iron Frog Press, which is a Dallas based fine art press that caters to artists who want to see their vision in woodblocks. Mr. Bagley considers himself a printmaking activist and he is constantly promoting, educating and advocating the virtues of the printmaking medium. Most recently, Matt is gaining international attention for his Print Frog®, a high performance glass baren. A baren is a tool used for printing without a printing press- it is the ideal tool for alternative materials that can not be printed on a press. As well as being easy to use, it is proving itself to being an extremely versatile and indispensable. In this workshop all printmakers will get to try printing without a press using the Print Frog®.
