Belinda Casey wants to introduce one of her passions, the joy of
copperplate etching. There is nothing else like a line that sits on the paper
a raised mark that the Intaglio process makes. This class covers the basics of line etching techniques, using liquid hard ground on copper plates. This method explores the beautiful qualities of linear drawing, etching, and printing. This workshop is rich in demos and you have time to make your own image on copper. For those of you with a little etching experience, the workshop is an opportunity to expand your intaglio expertise, and access Flatbed’s Community Press!
