Cost: $330 with materials  
Materials: 6” x 8” prepared copper plate, six 11 x 15-inch printmaking sheets, printmaking grounds, and inks.

This class covers the basics of line etching techniques, using liquid hard ground on copper plates. This method explores the beautiful qualities of linear drawing, etching, and printing. Included in the demos are basic aquatint and chine collé. This workshop is rich in demos and you have time to make your own image on copper. For those of you with little etching experience, the workshop is an opportunity to expand your intaglio expertise, and access Flatbed's professional print facility!
