Etching I - The Painterly Print

From line etching to soft ground and aquatint, this intro class will start with the basics of drypoint and every week lead the participants in learning to etch and print their images from copper plates.  Participants need not have any previous printmaking experience. Emphasis is hands-on learning and the goal is to become acquainted with a wide variety of etching techniques. A day of independent studio time is a bonus included with this workshop.
