Bring Your Own Plate (B.Y.O.P): A la Poupée - Open Studio

Dig out, dust off, and rediscover an old etching plate or wood block and bring it to this all-levels open studio to discover the hidden potential it has to be printed in a creative way, or just bring it and make those Artist Proof impressions you always wanted to make! The Night Life open studio meets every Monday evening from 6 until 9 PM and is meant to both foster the printmaking community and provide a place for printmakers to use the press’s facilities one evening a week. Current participants in other Flatbed classes are also welcome to come for some independent time. Flatbed will have a trained printer in the shop to assist you in setting press pressures or making suggestions, but participants for Night Life need to have had enough experience to work independently. to achieve the best print possible.
Participants need to bring their own paper, plates and color inks. Black ink, tarleton, and blankets are provided.
Sessions can be bought in single sessions or multiple sessions.
