Lance Letscher's New Print "The Six"

“The Six” was Lance Letscher’s third print to be published at Flatbed in 2020. The print which measures 45” x 31” is a dazzling image that combines drypoint linear constructs with color fields. Letscher hand-scribed the drawn images into copper creating drypoint lines that print a rich dark “fuzzy” line. The edition was limited to six as drypoint lines only hold up for a small printing before they start to diminish as the copper breaks down.

Stay tuned to more prints to come from Letscher in 2021. His exhibition at Flatbed in October of 2021 will include this drypoint and seven others intaglio prints.
